FOR FANS OF: YEARS AND YEARS, CLEAN BANDIT, ELLA EYRE
Anna began her career singing backing vocals on chart topping singles and albums by the likes of Rudimental, John Newman, Years and Years and Fono. Determined and ambitious, it wasn’t long before she began to fully immerse herself in her own music, leaving school at 17 and moving to London to pursue her solo career.
Writing and producing from her Grandma’s attic in Acton, Anna honed these skills and her sonic identity leading to her successful debut single ‘Late Night Swimming.’ The reaction was strong and the track received wide support and praise both online from the likes of Pigeons and Planes, Wonderland and Hunger, and on the radio with support from key tastemakers. Annie Mac gave her the nod with her inclusion in June’s “New Names” and ‘Late Night Swimming’ picked up further spins from Huw Stephens and Monki on Radio 1, Jamz Supernova on 1Xtra and Tom Robinson on 6 Music
