Frightened Rabbit

Frightened Rabbit

FOR FANS OF: THE DECEMBERISTS, THE NATIONAL, IDLEWILD

Playing clever but purposefully naïve pop in the manner of the Vaselines, the Twilight Sad, and the Clean, Frightened Rabbit sound a good bit bolder than their moniker would suggest, though it suits their lively but nervous musical personality.

Frightened Rabbit was founded in Glasgow, Scotland, in 2004. Starting out on legendary Brighton indie label FatCat Records the band released 3 albums from 2007 steadily building a fanbase until fourth record 'The Winter of Mixed Drinks' brought them to international attention. Latest record 'Painting of a Panic Attack' (their second since signing to Atlantic Records) was described as their most 'emotionally mature' by The 405 and 'The Frightened Rabbit we all know and love' by Paste Magazine. They return Leeds for Live at Leeds having sold out their recent Leeds University show.
